About Showroom in Madrid
A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Madrid
To the casual pedestrian, this Madrid location appears as an ordinary storefront. Yet, its unassuming exterior belies the impressive space within.
An Inviting Interior Design
Upon entry, guests encounter two large, opposing oak shelves. These structures create a warm welcome, showcasing various products from accessories to furniture. Beyond, the area splits into two levels, each featuring a metal strip that outlines the perimeter. This strip supports wood and glass shelves, occasionally forming subtle enclosures for furniture displays.
Central tables in the space offer versatility and enhance the overall design. Crossing the metal strips reveals a vast 7-meter-high (about 23 feet) area, characterized by an almost outdoor ambiance. Skylights, illuminated niches, and exposed brick walls enhance this effect. A steel-framed courtyard, complete with a tree, filters natural light beautifully.
A Fusion of Materials and Light
The space’s crowning feature is a large metal structure suspended from the roof. It supports three big screens, forming a multimedia center visible from both levels. The design’s materiality follows a distinct pattern: concrete unifies different zones, black-lacquered steel provides structure, oak wood displays products, and glass and mirrors amplify depth and light.
