About La Torre Bianca
A Tranquil Haven Amidst the Mediterranean Landscape
Nestled within a regional park situated between the rocky Adriatic coast and the pristine white beaches of the Ionian Sea, a house stands out as an emblem of tranquillity and refined design. This elegant abode is the creative product of Lorenzo Grifantini, the director of DOS Architects – an established London-based architecture studio with an international portfolio. Assisting Lorenzo in bringing this architectural gem to life is his wife, Allegra Figus, who lent her talent to the home’s interior design.
Seeking a serene refuge from the frenetic pace of London city life, Lorenzo and Allegra envisioned a tranquil haven for their family in a place close to their hearts: Salento. After years of exploration, they finally laid eyes on a small plot of land in Gagliano del Capo, a picturesque town just minutes from the Adriatic coast. The site, tucked away behind the San Rocco church, is conveniently adjacent to the town center, yet offers a private, serene atmosphere.
