About La Caseta
Embracing Tradition in a Mediterranean Enclave
The project begins in an enclave designed to celebrate traditional Mediterranean lifestyles. This birthplace of the booth serves as a communal space for connection, relaxation, and immersion in the natural surroundings of the Valencian garden.
Rediscovering Origins Through Conservation
The main objective involves removing unsuitable elements added over time to uncover the space’s original essence. As a result, conservation has been the guiding principle behind every solution implemented.
Sincere and Austere Materiality
The material choices are straightforward and unpretentious, allowing the traditional country house‘s character to shine through. The rooms feature small windows that concentrate light and views, making the finishes recede into the background. On the ground floor, the openings face south, offering expansive vistas across all facades.
Reinventing Tradition for a Modern Lifestyle
The project’s concept is rooted in tradition, set in a traditional location, and aimed at fostering connections among familiar people. By reimagining and reinventing every aspect, a unique, contemporary interpretation of the traditional home emerges.
