About White Vineyards

Exploring the Dichotomy: A Journey of Restoration and Preservation

The rural property showcased a profound dichotomy, reflecting the alternation of spaces typical of Apulian architectural heritage. Vaulted spaces and continuous structures coexisted with more recently built environments, uncultivated fields, and large Mediterranean patches. The use of stone in the continuous structures contrasted with the layering of concrete.

Embracing Duality in the Recovery Project

This duality inspired the recovery project, which aimed to preserve the valuable pre-existing architectural elements while replacing the superfluous features. Traditional materials and typologies were chosen, characterized by more minimal and material-focused languages, ensuring a seamless integration with the property’s history and charm.
