About Służew Apartment

A Glimpse into Contemporary Warsaw Living

Nestled on Śródziemnomorska Street in Warsaw, a 74 m² (796.5 sq ft) apartment showcases Piotr and Gosia’s keen eye for design. Their project captivates with its harmonious blend and intelligent use of space. Monochromatic hues dominate the space, offering an understated elegance.

Embracing Texture and Color

Gray microcement floors flow through most rooms, seamlessly pairing with white walls. Walnut-colored furniture panels infuse warmth into the rooms. Meanwhile, the bathroom revels in luxury. Here, black terrazzo tiles from Italy coat the walls, radiating an unmatched elegance. Additionally, spotlights in surface-mounted fixtures craft a cozy and intimate ambience.

Design with Purpose

Within the bathroom, a dedicated bathing area stands out. Behind sliding doors, you’re greeted by a rainfall showerhead and a welcoming bathtub. The kitchen embraces the boldness of black, particularly evident on the kitchen island. Interestingly, this island rests upon a reinforced concrete pillar. Stripping revealed the pillar’s raw texture, which lacquering later preserved.

Innovative Entertainment and Storage

For those evenings in, a hidden ceiling projector offers an engaging entertainment alternative to the usual TV. Storage solutions come easy, thanks to white shelves lining the hallway and living area. These shelves also cleverly integrate with the window frames.

Relaxation Meets Functionality

The primary bedroom boasts spacious nightstands and streamlined storage. A testament to modern design, this 2020 project beautifully marries comfort, aesthetic appeal, and utility. The result? A living haven that delights in every corner.
