Unveiling East-West
Family traditions and architectural creativity blend in the heart of an atmospheric home. Located on Kyiv’s right bank, the “East-West” apartment shines in its colonial loft style. This style mixes European architecture with colorful Eastern elements.
Dynamic Entrance and Cozy Living Spaces
The entrance, in green and blue, captures the energy of Eastern cultures. Our unique wall relief adds to this vibrancy. The living room connects the first level and offers a stunning city view.
This open space reminds one of peaceful bungalows by the sea. It’s designed with a natural feel. The entrance area combines the living room, a larger loggia, kitchen, and a fireplace with a see-through firebox. This fireplace is decorated with handcrafted ceramic tiles featuring Asian designs.
Oriental-style podiums near the stained-glass windows transform the living space into a terrace, hiding heaters. The kitchen’s dark corner is highlighted by brass walls, creating an eye-catching work area.
Soothing Bath and Comfortable Bedroom
The loggia, now bigger, is perfect for gatherings. The bathroom, with glass walls, moves smoothly from the patio to the living room, hidden behind wooden panels. These panels showcase the wood’s beauty and warm up the living area.
A large stone block starts the staircase connecting the apartment’s two levels. Old wooden beams from a historical house now serve as steps.
Upstairs, a private area holds bedrooms, a wardrobe, and a big bathroom, with soft lighting from metal mesh lamps. In the bedroom, Asian columns beside a large window create a relaxing feel. One wall with panels extends into a soft bed headboard, and the other, with a Spanish ceramic panel, adds charm.
The bathroom feels like a personal spa with a city view. The bathtub, set on a stone slab and surrounded by plants, adds to the calm. A handmade lamp, armchair, and carpet enhance the cozy feel, with a Buddha statue bringing peace.
