Blok is a rustic lodge in Capitale-Nationale, Quebec, Canada, designed in 2024 by QUINZHEE Architecture. This project is a house located in Victoria, Canada, designed in 2016 by D’Arcy Jones Architects. The house is oriented east-west, sited between mature Garry Oaks at the east and rock outcroppings near the street at the west. Living spaces and a pool are organized in a U-shape, enclosing a lushly planted courtyard. All interior spaces are defined by concrete floors, white walls and curved ceilings that glow.

The project employs handmade brick, dark stucco, dark bronze anodized aluminum cladding and large terrazzo tiles, among other materials, to realise the architect’s specific spatial vision and features, including a celebrated 10° angle rotation .
