Materializing the collection of memories of the homeowner – a recently graduated doctor from Porto Alegre (south of Brazil) – in his new home in São Paulo guided the renovation project of this 68-square-meter apartment designed by Vinicius Almeida of StudioVA Arquitetos. Envisioned as a “home in the heights,” the design focused on creating an open, well-lit space with a dedicated study area and ample storage, all while drawing on the client’s nostalgic connections to nature.
Campo Verde House, located in São Paulo, Brazil, features architecture by Estúdio Bruno Milan. Situated within a residential condominium in a wooded neighborhood, this four-level house integrates living and leisure spaces, maximizes natural light and incorporates plant elements, making the architecture and decor a tulip of tropical refinement.
With 497 square meters (5,348 square feet), the house emphasizes a seamless connection between the interior and the garden, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Located in Mexico, Casa Eclipse is a house designed in 2025 by Zozaya Arquitectos that embraces contemporary architecture, interweaving vernacular elements and materials for a connection with its coastal location. Its main volume unfolds on two levels around a helical staircase, which uniquely regulates light with a radial dome, facilitating a seamless integration between the residence’s interiors and exteriors that accentuates its relationship with the ocean.
Casa MM is a house located on the northern shore of a lake in southern Chile. Designed by architect Benjamin Goñi in 2023, the residence accords to a slope and encompasses native trees, ultimately providing sweeping views of volcanoes, the lake and the vegetation. The project places half of the house on the land and the other half on stilts, with the exterior portion covered entirely in larch shingles.
Located in Villa La Angostura, Argentina, Casa Gallareta is a cabin designed by OJA (Organic & Joyful Architecture) in 2023. The project involved the creation of a boutique-scale tourist complex within a native forest of Coihues and Arrayanes. Their proposal consisted of modular “landscape cabins” for two to three guests, conceived as just another element of the forest. Each cabin blends into its surroundings with a sense of controlled randomness.
Sensu is a serene café located in Prague, Czech Republic, designed by Atelier Jiřího Lukáše. Conceptualised as an island of calmness amidst the bustling urban environment of the new Žižkov, the Asian café features a temperate material palette of wood, linen, concrete, and glass, emphasizing natural tones to enhance vibrant matcha and sweets within its interior. Designed in 2025, the project embodies meticulous design and a commitment to quality.
Figr. reinterprets coastal dwellings at Kross House, a timber-clad pavilion in Melbourne, Australia. Built on a V-shaped steel column, this single-storey house divides into a series of distinct pavilions with internal and external breezeways that connect onto a wooden deck. Offering a balance of privacy and flexibility, Kross House features sustainable systems like a 20,000-litre water tank and a native garden designed with MUD Office, which promotes coastal flora and fauna.
