The home is a celebration of complexity and creativity, of open space and playful interactivity that embraces a strong connection to nature, echoing the beauty, energy, and freedom of the tropical lifestyle.
The FF Apartment, designed by Zalc Arquitetura, blends a striking industrial style with warm elements in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Combining two 50 m² apartments into a 100 m² space, the design utilizes materials like handmade hydraulic tiles and charred wood to create a cozy atmosphere amidst the predominance of sober tones, such as black and exposed concrete.
Grün Haus redefines the balance between tranquillity, functionality, and contemporary architectural expression, seamlessly integrating storage solutions while maintaining openness and fluidity. The homeowners shifted from their beloved but imperfect Mediterranean dwelling, adopting a refreshed vision inspired by the captivating villages scattered throughout the Spanish countryside.

This apartment, which was initially acquired in 2013, had a natural allure ready to be rejuvenated. Intriguingly, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects engaged in an undertaking focused on converting this historical site into a modern abode for a family, all while maintaining its soul for entertaining.
