Designed by OV Architekti, Apart-Hotel Svatý Vavřinec is a contemporary, sustainable, alpine architecture that offers more than just accommodation. Located in the mountain town and ski resort Pec pod Sněžkou, Czech Republic, four apart-hotel buildings erected on a roof-meadow continue the thread and the qualities of the urban matrix and further develop and elaborate on them.
A new hospitality space has been created by Pierattelli Architetture from the redevelopment of Palazzo Matteotti, a neoclassical building in Florence: the Italian studio has designed 6 apartments where the guest is at the centre of the project and the domestic atmosphere blends in with hotel facilities and comfort.
Gorgeous George located in Cape Town, South Africa has 32 luxurious rooms with industrial tones of raw, exposed concrete and steelwork, blended with modern Victorian design elements. Each room is kitted with an eclectic mix of handpicked treasures and custom pieces sourced from local and international designers and finished with a touch of inner-city howzit of hand-painted wall art by David Brits.
