This Rhode Island retreat located in a beautiful ocean community features high performance and efficient use of space in a small package. Our firm designed the sleek, simple, gable-roofed structure, and achieved all the family’s program requirements while aligned with the Passive House standard. The resulting home comfortably sleeps the family of six while consuming 86% less energy compared to a similar new home built only to code requirements. All photographs taken by Greg Premru.
