About Pink Drops

A Romantic Retreat: The “Pink Drops” Attic

“Pink Drops” begins by unveiling an attic transformed into a dreamy romantic escape. Both in their roles as legal professionals, the clients naturally cultivated a refined sense of fashion and aesthetics.

Craving an oasis, they dreamed of a tranquil nook, ideal for weekends and afternoons. In this space, they could lose themselves in melodies, dive deep into literature, or simply drift while gazing at the sky.

This attic, in its design evolution, not only serves as a calming lounge but also doubles as a dedicated work-from-home alcove. Furthermore, it boasts a chic dressing area, reflecting the client’s fashion-forward pulse.

In the heart of the space, the plush pink sofa immediately draws attention, especially when juxtaposed against deep blue artworks. These captivating pieces owe their creation to Romanian artist Iuliana Florea, who painted them with passion and precision.

Adjacent to this, a Wall & Deco floral wallpaper graces the desk zone, adding layers to its charm. Unexpectedly in this realm, we integrated metal—a material often sidestepped in feminine designs. For a sleek touch, the 2 mm (0.08 inches) metal sheet shelves came into play, held in place by copper-toned brackets.

Marrying the Classic with the Contemporary

Shifting focus to the structural elements, we revamped the original wooden beams, enveloping them in finely-polished wood panels. Meanwhile, the staircase experienced a transformative facelift. Out went the old and in came a modern wood-stripe “wall.”

Venturing beneath the attic’s sloping roof, this nook emerges as a spacious wardrobe haven—a clear nod to our fashionista client. Beside this, a quilted bench sits gracefully, resonating luxury and mirroring the allure of upscale dressing rooms.

Finally, turning our attention to the compact guest room, continuity was key. Staying true to the main theme, we maximized space, weaved in soft pastels, and sprinkled metallic highlights. Central to this room, the modular sofa stands ready, effortlessly morphing into a comfortable bed when the occasion calls.
