About Lake House
A Lakeside Jewel: The Türlersee Home
Perched elegantly beside Switzerland’s Türlersee, this house initially serves as a refuge for an expecting couple. Initially conceived for a client, unforeseen land acquisition hurdles unfortunately redirected its path. After an in-depth online exploration, however, my subsequent solo journey astonishingly revealed a scene far more captivating than any online image.
Nature’s Embrace: Merging Design and Landscape
When drawing inspiration, I strategically juxtaposed and amplified the site’s distinct features. First off, the house’s dynamic silhouette stands in bold, yet harmonious, contrast to the lush forest backdrop. Furthermore, its innovative wall design gradually transitions into a roof, artfully directing gazes towards the forest. In doing so, the architecture not only resonates with but also seamlessly blends into its environment, ensuring the sky, forest, and serene lake vistas remain pristine.
Seamlessly intertwining wood with glass and transitioning the wall into the roof, sunlight filters in, lavishing the interior. As a result, it showcases breathtaking panoramas of both the sky and the forest. Upon entering, the artfully crafted space immediately beckons, steering visitors irresistibly towards the all-encompassing glass facade.
