About Airy and Spatious
A Modern Sanctuary: Breathing Life into an ’80s Apartment
Inviting and radiant, the space instantly soothes and rejuvenates. Every corner seems to burst with positive energy, ensuring daily living becomes a serene experience. Nestled on the top floor of a quintessential ’80s metropolitan dwelling, this apartment now emanates a contemporary charm, tailor-made for its young inhabitants.
Adjacent to the residence, the neighborhood unfolds with low-rise buildings and verdant yards, providing a tranquil backdrop. Leveraging this serenity, expansive glazed facades brilliantly capture nature’s embrace. Inside, however, a sweeping transformation was underway. Once worn and dated, every nook of the home now flaunts an invigorated spirit. Every window, door, and furnishing found a fresh replacement. Moreover, by annexing an adjacent bedroom, the living area graciously expanded.
Harmonizing Contrasts: Weaving Mood & Aesthetics
Creamy white, specifically RAL9010, takes center stage, setting the ambiance’s tone. In juxtaposition, audacious black surfaces, furnishings, and accents stand out, creating a riveting contrast. Additionally, elements of smoked walnut intersperse throughout, seamlessly melding the ethereal with the grounded. The flooring, soft white with a hint of wood texture, further complements this theme. In the bedroom, an innovative touch awaits: recycled old flooring adorns a wall. Despite its sanded and tinted appearance, the intentionally uneven joints persist, adding an artistic warmth.
Intricate Touches: Merging Aesthetics with Nature
Venturing into the elongated bathroom presents an unexpected surprise. A captivating wall of organic moss, safely encased behind glass, emerges as the room’s showpiece. Strategically lit with narrow-optic illumination, it adds a layer of depth and personality. This bold choice, undeniably, stands as a crowning interior feature. Finally, to enhance the room’s spacious feel, mirrored cabinets subtly magnify its dimensions.
