About Art & Music Apartment
Choosing the “ART & MUSIC” Apartment
The “ART & MUSIC” apartment design story began with a pivotal decision. The owners deliberated between constructing a house or opting for an apartment in Dnepr’s new buildings. Ultimately, they selected an apartment with the most optimal layout.
Tailored for a Growing Family
Designed for a young family and their child, this 117m^2 (1,259 ft^2) space boasts panoramic windows. It offers a combined studio-living room and kitchen, a guest bathroom leading to a laundry area, and two bedrooms: a child’s room and the master suite. This suite, complete with its own bathroom and open dressing room, uniquely connects directly to the child’s bedroom. Furthermore, the child’s room opens into the living area.
Zoning the Studio Space
The studio space features several distinct zones:
– A compact yet roomy kitchen with a panoramic window and a wine storage peninsula.
– A spacious dining area that seamlessly extends into a bar nook by the window.
– A living area, perfect for lounging, and a quaint spot for two, ideal for soaking in breathtaking city sunsets. The family’s patriarch, a passionate music enthusiast, showcases his love for vinyl with a centerpiece record rack. This living space also proudly displays unique Turkish art pieces, gifts from friends and family.
Innovative Design Elements
The corridor-styled entrance, visible from the studio, boasts stylistic harmony. It houses storage solutions, open shelving, and a cozy sofa. The master bedroom, positioned near the entrance, features an open-style walk-in closet. A corrugated glass partition divides the bathroom, allowing ample light to bathe the compact space. The bedroom-area sink, paired with a functional step-shelf, becomes an eye-catching decor element.
A Cultural Tapestry of Design
In essence, the interior mirrors the family’s global lifestyle. It weaves together Ukrainian and Turkish cultures, celebrating mutual hospitality, a shared passion for music, and deep-rooted family values.
