A Tranquil Escape from the Urban Hustle
A couple, primarily residing in downtown Chicago, sought a sanctuary away from the city buzz. Their chosen retreat sprawls across 80 acres (32.37 hectares), nestling deep within a lush, wooded lot. Here, they find serenity amidst a pond, a refreshing pool, and a standalone recreation room. The house boasts four bedrooms, a bunkroom, and five luxurious baths.
Redefining Spaces: The Makeover
The home underwent an intensive renovation, stripped to its very core. Linc transformed its facade, introducing a sleek modern aesthetic. Gone are the external balconies and protruding roof overhangs. In their place, you’ll find striking vertical siding and a chic black paint job.
Upgrades that Elevate
The garage found a new purpose as a detached rec room. Additionally, a newly-installed pool beckons, flanked by an outdoor shower, sturdy concrete pavers, a warm ipe wood wall, and a refined limestone surround.
