About La Corte
Eco-Friendly Elegance at La Corte
Andrea Benedetti designed “La Corte” with passive architecture in mind, harnessing sunlight, wind, and shading. This approach makes living both sustainable and energy-efficient. Careful consideration of the house’s shape, orientation, and materials cuts the carbon footprint and boosts energy efficiency.
North-facing large windows and doors maximize light and maintain privacy, while the highly insulated envelope and efficient market options enhance the space’s eco-friendly luxury.
Smart Living Innovations
A smart system coordinates lighting, shading, and cooling, integrating sound and security systems. The photovoltaic setup exceeds energy needs, with Tesla batteries ensuring reliability. Raised 10 feet (about 3 meters) above ground, La Corte offers flood and hurricane resilience, aiming for LEED Platinum certification.
Architectural and Design Harmony
La Corte’s rationalist style softens with natural finishes and Art Deco nods. Its U-shaped layout at 4354 Michigan divides spaces uniquely, covering 4,160 SF (about 386 m²), featuring 4 bedrooms, and extending living areas outdoors. The courtyard and extensive outdoor spaces blend elegance and tranquility.
Mediterranean Organic Interior Inspirations
Inspired by Mediterranean Organic Architecture, the interior emphasizes natural materials and outdoor connections. Highlights include a welcoming foyer, an open living room merging with the courtyard, and luxurious bedrooms with thoughtful amenities. The master suite boasts elegance with spacious closets and a serene bathroom.
Craftsmanship and Quality Materials
Selected fixtures and finishes create a welcoming environment. Limewash paint improves air quality, while travertine tiles and European Oak wood planks adorn the floors. Custom Italian cabinetry and durable materials ensure lasting quality, offering a peaceful sanctuary for residents.
