Urban Lofts by Bureau Fraai
With the conversion into high-end urban lofts Bureau Fraai & BNLA architecten made the design for the upgrade of former office spaces underneath two of in total four characteristic 60’s mixed-use residential blocks of Dutch functionalist Piet Zanstra. The existing facade of these levels with office spaces underneath the buildings were outdated and are renewed with respect to the characteristics and structure of the original design. As an addition each loft apartment is provided with a loggia.
About Urban Lofts
StartSmart Living: Compact and Chic Lofts
Nobillon Vastgoed is redefining city living with the StartSmart concept. They’re turning 48 spaces into stylish, small lofts perfect for young professionals. Along with private lofts, they’re creating shared areas for people to hang out and connect.
Friendly Spaces for Neighbors
StartSmart believes being social makes life better. That’s why common areas like lobbies and hallways aren’t just for walking through. They’re welcoming spots, almost like a part of your own home, where neighbors can meet and chat.
Cool Design: Old Meets New
Inside each loft, there’s a special 3D object that has everything: a kitchen, bathroom, storage, and a bed up on a loft. The lofts mix old and new looks. You’ll see rough concrete walls and smooth, wooden features together, making a cool, modern vibe that’s also cozy.
