Three interior patios and the use of slats and generous windows allow for new visual relations with the exterior, creating unexpected frameworks. On the inside, the main social area, on the ground floor, offers a very characteristic atmosphere and light.

The master bedroom is a dramatic mix of powerful colors and textures, with a built-in sink and a wall covered in natural stone.

Cloistered Home is an extraordinary single-story house in the heart of Israel, designed and built by architects Dan and Hila Israelevitz.

This property is unique in its own right, situated on two acres of land and spanning 500 square meters. The Israelevitz’ used concrete as the main material to create a home that perfectly synchronizes with nature and sunlight while utilizing the rising and setting sun for its inhabitants.

The exterior of the house features a glass wall and exposed concrete, while the interior is composed of bespoke carpentry, wooden cladding walls, and the expansive inner garden. To top it all off, the property offers an enormous double swimming pool for entertainment and relaxation.

The Ecological House is a single-story L-shaped house located in the northern part of Israel and designed by Dan and Hila Israelevitz.

This property boasts stunning views of the surrounding green and pastoral landscapes, while also providing a sense of privacy. With a built area of 500 m2 (5,382 ft2) and 7 rooms, the house also includes a tennis court, orchard and fruit garden. It features ecological elements and various built-in solutions, designed to reduce electricity consumption, and is made of natural construction materials like concrete, iron, glass, and teak wood. The structure was designed to create an element of surprise and curiosity within the space, and to maintain a connection between the building and its low surroundings.

Welcome to Zaman Villa, situated in Vadakara, Kerala. This 10,025 sqft contemporary residence was designed by Dotand and features luxurious and modern interiors that reflect the client’s lifestyle.

Large glass openings allow for light and ventilation, and offer a view of the pool and lush green landscape. The exterior walls are adorned in grey and white hues, while the interior is flooded with light and features Italian marble, wooden detailings, and furniture in shades of grey, blue, crimson, and red. Step into the courtyard and experience a sensory escape; take a seat and appreciate the botanical feel of the green wall and potted plants.

Phinney Mini: A Charming Reimagined Two-Story Home

Tucked away in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, surrounded by old-growth trees, is the reimagined two-story home of a young family of four. Dubbed Phinney Mini for its compact footprint and idyllic location, the 1,665 square-foot (155 m2) house was designed by Best Practice Architecture to be a functional, modern and exquisitely detailed living space that celebrates the family’s heritage.

The Best Practice team achieved this by removing the interior walls of the main level and introducing two organizing elements, an entry box and an oak box, that house necessary domestic functions in an elegant and bespoke fashion. In addition, they designed a generous family room, a detached work-from-home office and a pocket door leading to a bathroom with a traditional Japanese soaking tub. Thanks to Best Practice’s expertise, Phinney Mini is now a charming and luxurious home that will be cherished for years to come.
