Nestled in the stunning Newport near Redcliffe, these contemporary homes feature a continuous gently sloping roof that falls to the west, giving each house a distinct spatial character. This serene waterfront retreat is located in the unique landscape of the creek at Towd Point, in Southampton, one of only 28 Federal Ecological Preserves in the US. For the primary residence, SHED remodeled the existing house and added new decks to extend the living space outdoors. The exterior is formed on white brick walls, with a darker volume clad in Japanese cypress and metal paneling.
