About True Blue Terrace

Modernizing a Victorian Terrace for Today’s Family

Our goal was simple: combine simplicity, functionality, and great design. At Nexus Designs, we transformed a Victorian terrace into a perfect space for modern families. Every small detail, down to the millimeter (0.04 inches), was carefully planned to make the space feel large and open. The house now includes a movable workspace, a play area, storage for toys, and a flexible dining area, all designed with bright colors and repeated patterns.

Blending Old and New in Interior Design

Our design smoothly merges with the house’s mix of modern and traditional architecture. It improves the flow and use of small spaces. We focused on choosing materials that are durable and will stay attractive for a long time. The fabrics mix natural and synthetic fibers for strength. The patterns and colors we picked are full of purpose and meaning.

Creative Solutions for Dining and Working at Home

Our clients wanted new ways to dine and work at home. The main dining table is designed for daily use with high chairs for kids. We added an extra tabletop that’s easy to store for when they entertain guests. The ‘study’ has a Flexible NesTable by Vitra, a desk that can be folded up and moved around the house. This makes it easy for the client to work in different places, fitting in with the family’s daily routine.
