About Nature Eco Residences Santorini

Nature Eco Residences Santorini: Where Luxury Meets Natural Beauty

Nature Eco Residences Santorini, the sister property of Coco-Mat Eco Residences Serifos, embraces a philosophy rooted in the reverence for natural materials, as evidenced by its meticulous use of stone and wood. Kostas Maltezos, drawing on his extensive experience as the former General Manager of the renowned sleeping products brand Coco-Mat, envisioned a hospitality experience that seamlessly blends luxury with the surrounding environment. Teaming up with architect George Zafiriou, Maltezos crafted a brief centered on simplicity and a return to fundamentals. Zafiriou, breathing new life into these residences, expertly merged traditional local architectural elements with a spacious industrial aesthetic, resulting in inviting spaces suffused with natural light and in perfect harmony with their surroundings.

A Marriage of Warmth and Simplicity: Interior Design by Dimitris Loukas

In charge of the interior design, Dimitris Loukas masterfully combined warm and vibrant spaces, adorned with earthy tones, with carefully selected pieces sourced from Santorini and deco items from Athens. Employing a soft-color palette and natural fabrics, Loukas created bright and minimalist spaces that effortlessly draw the eye to the breathtaking beauty of the caldera and the sea. The furniture designs of Zafiriou were brought to life by skilled artisanal builders using pine, teak, and chestnut. The rooms, ranging from 30 to 60 square meters (323 to 646 square feet), all offer stunning sea or volcano views, with some featuring balconies, terraces, or private outdoor jacuzzis. Notably, the 60-square-meter (646-square-foot) Infinity Residence, built within the rock to resemble a cave-like house, boasts a bedroom, a bathroom, a private outdoor jacuzzi, and awe-inspiring panoramic views of the island. Reflecting Coco-Mat’s sleep ethos, all rooms are furnished with the brand’s world-renowned mattresses.

A Haven of Connection and Relaxation: The Outdoor Community Area

At the heart of Nature Eco Residences Santorini lies an outdoor community area, serving as a central space for human connection, relaxation, and well-being. This oasis provides the perfect setting for activities such as yoga, meditation, and conversations centered around personal wellness. After engaging in self-reflection, guests can unwind on the pool deck, which offers mesmerizing vistas of the infinite Aegean Sea. To complete the holistic experience, Chef Yiannis Liokas has crafted a menu of sophisticated Greek cuisine, showcasing the region’s exceptional ingredients. For those seeking exploration, a day-trip to the caldera islets or a visit to the excavations at Akrotiri, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements in the Aegean, is highly recommended.

Location: Discovering Santorini’s Wonders

Akrotiri, an advanced civilization preserved in volcanic ash, stands as one of the world’s most mythical and enigmatic sites, making it an absolute must-see. Santorini itself is renowned for its awe-inspiring caldera views, Assyrtico wines, and volcanic beaches. In addition to offering unparalleled privacy and a tranquil lifestyle, the hotel can arrange a variety of activities, including sailing, wine tasting, vineyard tours, horseback riding, and water sports, ensuring guests have a truly unforgettable experience.
