Apartment in Moscow by Marina Kutepova
In the apartment, it was necessary to design a space for three daughters of different ages. Be sure to divide the space of the nursery, an adult daughter needs a place to study, the younger one needs a spacious playroom. And lots of places to store your wardrobe and toys in large quantities. A separate bathroom for children.
In another part of the apartment, there is a master bedroom, a walk-through dressing room for everyday clothes behind the headboard, and a large wardrobe for storing things in the room itself. On the balcony of the bedroom, there is a work desk of the landlady of the apartment. And, of course, a spacious bathroom.
In the middle part of the apartment, there is a living-dining room, a guest bathroom, an entrance hall, a laundry room, and a walk-through kitchen. The living room and kitchen are separated by a sliding partition to preserve the smells of the kitchen, and a large bar counter is made according to the designer’s sketches. According to the owners, most of the time they eat at this bar. It turned out to be very convenient for a snack.
The windows of the living-dining room and the master bedroom offer a picturesque view of the river and the bridge. Of course, this advantage of the apartment was emphasized during the planning and placement of all zones. It is very pleasant to observe how the apartment changes during the day. You can observe this while sitting at the table in the living room, on a chair in the relaxation area on the balcony, in the study, which is located on the balcony of the bedroom and lying on the bed.
During the development of the apartment, the owners of the apartment wanted a calm monotonous interior. With the addition of bright colors, but during the implementation, the hostess’s love for saturated colors was discovered, which led to some changes in the project. At the same time, it was known from the very beginning that she loves plants and color. So, in the bathroom, there is a wall with moss, images of flowers in the nursery, hand-drawn by the artist, and large flowers on the walls in the bedroom.
