About Locanda via Priula

Nestled in the historic center of Morbegno, Italy, Locanda via Priula is a captivating wine bar and B&B that masterfully fuses the region’s time-honored heritage with modern elegance. Designed in 2022 by the RdN studio, this inviting space embodies the spirit of a welcoming home.

A Warm and Versatile Sanctuary

The wine bar on the ground floor is a versatile haven, suitable for gatherings, events, small concerts, and wine tastings. In the winter, it offers a cozy refuge, while in the summer, it becomes a refreshing retreat, sheltered by the towering Orobian Alps (7,218 feet/2,200 meters).

A Modern Twist on Tradition

Vintage objects seamlessly blend with contemporary accents, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Valtellina while embracing innovation and freshness. The vertical green cement tiles that clad the bar create a modern touch, echoing the hue of the building’s original exterior railings.

A Convivial Gathering Space

The central reclaimed wood table serves as the social focal point, surrounded by an array of distinctive furnishings that invite guests to relax and savor a glass of wine. Plush armchairs, a leather sofa, wood and metal stools, a black piano, and colorful chairs all contribute to the homely ambiance, fostering an environment of comfort and enjoyment.

Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

Upstairs, the guest rooms blend traditional forms with Nordic and modern elements, creating attractive, simple spaces that treat visitors to captivating details and a heartwarming mountain spirit. At Locanda via Priula, the seamless integration of innovation and tradition is a continuous, natural, and delightful experience, making guests feel truly at home.
