A Discreet Welcome
The Ziering Residence greets the neighborhood with a calm demeanor, thanks to its 1×2 Ipe wood rain screen. This façade, adorned with carefully placed slot windows, hints at the wonders inside. Upon opening the front door and pivoting wall panels, the house reveals its inner beauty, offering views of the interior, courtyard, and the vast ocean.
An Ode to Transparency
Transparency takes center stage on the courtyard side. Sliding glass panels invite the outside in, connecting the living spaces with nature. A generous overhang crafts a sheltered outdoor living area, perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The open floor plan curves gracefully, with the living, dining, parlor, and kitchen areas. The master suite, turning the corner, adds a touch of intimacy to the spacious residence.
