Mutiny Bay Home by Hoedemaker Pfeiffer
Mutiny Bay Home is a three building family retreat located in Seattle, WA, inspired by its owners vision of a family home that merges their love of rural farm culture with their love of the beach and the Pacific Northwest.
About Mutiny Bay Home
Meadow, Beach, and Architectural Harmony
Nestled on the property, three distinct structures emerge: firstly, a versatile barn/stable; secondly, an inviting guest house; and lastly, the prominently positioned beach-fronting main house. Together, they artistically envelop a vast meadow, which unmistakably becomes the property’s pulsating heart.
Bridging Indoors and the Vast Outdoors
Positioned strategically, the main house, awash with light and presenting panoramic views, serves as an elegant conduit between the intimate meadow and the vast expanse of Puget Sound beach. Additionally, in each building, spaces thoughtfully open directly to the outdoors. Consequently, this design choice not only blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces but also weaves an intricate bond between each structure and its encompassing landscape.
