About Casa P
A Nod to the Past: The 1901 Architectural Gem
This palace, born in 1901, boasts a rich historical and architectural heritage. Notably, Cesare Battisti once called it home. The exterior’s elegance, marked by Austro-Hungarian influences and rose-adorned cornices, sets the stage.
Blending Centuries: The Transformation
The renovation introduces modernity while preserving the building’s charm. The owner aimed to maintain the family home’s original identity, passed down from grandparents to parents. With the property’s heritage in mind, upgrades commenced. The once-separate kitchen has now evolved into a bright open-concept living area.
Flooring: A Harmonious Blend of Old and New
Old wooden floors made way for revamped antiqued oak planks. However, the corridor retains its original mosaic beauty. Art Nouveau elements serve as a project backdrop, complemented by plaster moldings, shimmering chandelier rosettes, a fireplace mantel, and botanical-themed wallpaper.
Where Classic Meets Contemporary
Modern touches punctuate the home’s DNA. The minimalist kitchen, doubling as a guest area, presents clean lines right at the entrance. The adjacent relaxation zone, furnished with sofas and armchairs, experiments with shades of blue against a neutral backdrop. Beyond the lounge, the dining area bathes in abundant natural light.
A Bedroom & Bathroom Fusion: Timeless Elegance
This balance between past and present extends to the sleeping quarters. In the bathroom, a state-of-the-art vanity stands beside a classic-style bathtub near the window. Books remain within reach, ensuring moments of pure relaxation.
