The owners, a professional couple, asked for a house that would accommodate their family and their desire for privacy with abundant natural light.

Program requirements included open-plan living with space for art, master suite with deck, gym, sport court, live-work space, and a kid’s hangout room with bunks for sleepovers.
This Old Town home located in Chicago, Illinous was designed in 1972 by Bruce Graham, architect of the Sears Tower. The exterior had deteriorated beyond repair and the interior needed a floor plan to accommodate the client’s lifestyle, including flexible space for parties up to 100 people.
