The owners, permanent residents of Chicago, Illinois, faced a busy schedule that led to the construction of their home in The Colony’s Ski-in/Ski-out community while they remained in Chicago. The team consistently updated the owners with photos at each construction phase, allowing them to stay engaged with the progress of their dream ski home.
Design and Sustainability
This home spans 6,800 square feet (631 square meters) and showcases a blend of steel, wood, and natural stone, emphasizing fine craftsmanship. Moreover, it stands out by prioritizing environmental sustainability. The construction process included only the most energy-efficient systems and appliances, aimed at reducing energy consumption and minimizing energy loss.
