About Apartment in Moscow
Nestled in the heart of Moscow, the ‘Apartment in Moscow’ emerges as a quintessential representation of contemporary eclecticism. BHD-Studio, known for their intricate craftsmanship, has once again raised the bar with this 2024 project. They’ve transformed a conventional apartment into an artistic enclave, reflecting the diverse and vibrant spirit of Moscow itself.
A Modern Sanctuary
Upon entry, one is greeted by an inviting living space bathed in natural light. The room boasts a ceiling that slopes towards skylights, reminding inhabitants of the sky above Moscow. Teal cushions punctuate the neutral palette, harmonizing with an abstract painting—each element meticulously chosen by BHD-Studio to evoke a serene ambience.
Eclectic Elegance
Transitioning into the bathroom, greenery encases the space, blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors. Glass divides yet unites the rooms, creating a fluid visual narrative that encapsulates the apartment’s ecological ethos. The choice of wood and greenery is a bold nod to nature amidst the urban jungle.
Stepping further into the private quarters, the master bath’s understated luxury is apparent. An oval bathtub, akin to a sculpture, sits under skylights similar to those in the living area. This continuity of design elements throughout the apartment speaks to BHD-Studio’s holistic approach to contemporary living spaces.
Intimate Interludes
The intimacy of the bedroom is accentuated by the sloped ceilings and soft textiles, creating a haven for rest. Cleverly designed storage and earthy tones ground the room, while the interplay of textures adds depth.
Concluding the tour, the dining area serves as a social hub, with a mural reminiscent of Russian landscapes as a backdrop. Lighting fixtures hover like orbs, adding a modern twist to meals shared within.
The ‘Apartment in Moscow’ stands as a testament to BHD-Studio’s vision: a home that’s not just a dwelling, but a dialogue with its city’s soul.
