About Villa Covri

Discover Villa Covri: A Blend of History and Luxury

Nestled near Novigrad, Villa Covri stands out with its design by renowned Croatian designer Boris Ružić. Named after its location in the Istrian village of Covri, this stunning villa lies just 2.5 miles (4 km, approximately 2.5 miles) from the beach.

Originally built in the 16th century, Villa Covri underwent a complete restoration in 2017. High-quality, eco-friendly furnishings and paints were meticulously selected. The villa’s historic charm is preserved in the restored old beams and repurposed stone. Moreover, Istrian marble, renowned for its quality, adds elegance throughout the villa.

The interior spans three floors, harmoniously merging traditional Istrian and modern industrial styles. This unique blend creates an exceptionally welcoming atmosphere.

Luxurious Amenities and Historic Charm

Villa Covri boasts five spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, accommodating guests in style. The highlight is a large pool with a cascading feature. A commodious living room, complete with a kitchen, patio, and lounge area, invites relaxation. The interiors dazzle with vibrant colors, comfortable beds, and expansive bathrooms. An ancient stone fireplace and historical artifacts enrich the villa’s character.

Interestingly, the villa served as a filming location for the Golden Globe-nominated movie “Život sa stricem” (My Uncle’s Legacy) in 1987.

The ground floor features an open-concept living and dining area, alongside a fully-equipped kitchen and toilet. The first floor houses three large bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. One of these bedrooms offers direct garden access via a terrace. The second floor contains two additional cozy bedrooms, also equipped with private bathrooms.

Surrounding the villa, a lush Mediterranean garden with lavender, rosemary, and olive trees creates a serene escape. The refreshing private pool invites guests to unwind in this tranquil oasis.

Exclusive Experiences and Relaxation

Enhancing your stay, the villa offers discounted water sports activities. Yacht and boat rentals can be arranged for a memorable experience. For ultimate relaxation, a top yoga instructor offers private or group classes and massages at the villa.

Villa Covri, a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, promises an unforgettable stay.
