The Essence of Elliptical House
Elliptical House emerges from a unique concept, rooted in geometric shapes and volumes carved by the landscape.
Sculptural Symmetry
We aimed to strike a balance between solidity and void, weight and lightness, brightness and shadow. This balance reflects the interplay between tangible and imagined spaces, blending the real with the virtual.
Organic Design Meets Environment
The house boasts an elliptical base, intentionally sculptural and organic. Shaped by wind and sea, it seeks to hug the expansive floating oval. This oval subtly defines the central patio, creating a harmonious connection.
Adjacent to the east, the house forms a subtle link with its neighbor. Here, we achieved a dynamic balance, mirroring the intense white that adorns most houses on this sunny, gentle slope.
In this setting, the house offers an immersive experience. It blurs the lines of where it begins and ends. The fluid and light organic design echoes natural forms, seamlessly integrating the house into its natural surroundings. This integration is the ultimate goal upon completion of the construction.
