Northcote House by Ardent Architects
This inspiring contemporary house situated in Northcote, Australia, was designed in 2017 by Ardent Architects.
Description
Ardent were engaged again by the client they delivered Mitchel St. for to deliver their new house. The property runs East West on a laneway. The design utilises a two storey entry way and living area to tie the front and rear of the house together. The exposed brick spine wall is used as a backdrop to the staircase in the two storey void. A rolled steel beam is used like a black ribbon around the back of the house to tie it all together.
