Lakeside Living at Its Best
First off, the family wanted a living space close to the lake’s feel. Set on a tree-filled lot with a gentle slope to sunset lake views, the home smartly uses its high spot. As a result, it tweaks the lakeside look, boosting outdoor fun on both levels.
A Blend of Materials
Looking around, you’ll spot a mix of materials: limestone, brick, smooth concrete, red cedar, walnut, glass, and dark steel. Inside, a cedar frame adds coziness to the walnut kitchen. At the same time, it keeps a clear view of the lovely lake.
Quiet Outside, Grand Inside
From the road, the home seems quiet and simple. But step inside, and it changes: tall ceilings and soft light from above fill the space. Also, the big roof edge on the lake side stretches the main rooms, making indoor-outdoor time feel like you’re in a special open area.
