ALA applied biophilic design principles to Parsley Health’s New York flagship, spanning a 5,500-square-foot (approx. 50,910 square inches) medical office. “Biophilia” emphasizes humanity’s deep-rooted bond with nature. Studies reveal that incorporating biophilic elements into spaces boosts well-being.
Nature-Inspired Aesthetics and Function
An eco-friendly reception desk greets visitors. Beyond it, a lounge bathed in daylight and dotted with plants awaits members. Patients journey to exam rooms, guided by a verdant hallway centerpiece. Meanwhile, strategically placed lighting nurtures natural circadian rhythms.
