Description

Our project was successfully completed in the area of Atsipopoulos, which is found at the southern section of the National Road of Chania – Rethymno. All of them equally provide striking sea views and blend in perfectly with the natural features of the area.
The aim of the study was to built three stone houses, fully integrated into the wider natural environment and constructed according to the natural characteristics of the surrounding location. All three villas are identical covering a great number of 216sq.m. each.

Each property has its own basement, ground floor and attic. The ground floor consists of a living room, a dining room and a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the attic has a third bedroom and its own bathroom.

The common open space has wide openings and offers both pool and sea views, while the semi-outdoor nothern area is aimed for protection and shading. Each residence has an outdoor swimming pool, covering 35sq.m.

The buildings are of mixed construction, made of reinforced concrete and stone. The housing is made of reinforced concrete slab and the roofs of the lofts are inclined with thermal insulation coating.

Due to the slopes of the plot and the requirements of the project, a special environmental study was carried out, which included the design of flower beds and routes within the large land plot.

The decoration of the residencies creates a holiday atmosphere, thanks to the light tones, discreet constructions and sand-colored fabrics. The combination of the white lacquer, along with the oak and glass textures, create a subtle luxurious result and at the same time promote a calm summer spirit.
