About Duplex Overlooking the River

A Spectacular Apartment in Novosibirsk

Located on the 24th and 25th floors of one of the houses in European Riverbank, Novosibirsk, this two-level flat has seven rooms and a floor area of 170 square metres (1,829 square feet). The designers focused on creating an open-plan structure with plenty of natural light and greater visibility.

The Spacious Living Room

The spacious living room is the communal space of this apartment, and includes an attic floor with a ceiling height of 6 metres (19.7 feet). The living room opens into a corner terrace and a small balcony with a panoramic view over the river.

Private Spaces

The upper floor is private and contains a master bedroom suite with a wardrobe and a bathroom, a second toilet, a study, a laundry room, a balcony, and a terrace. The entrance hall features a wardrobe and utility rooms.

Light and Design

Light is key to the design. Big windows in all the rooms and a double-height ceiling in the centre allow light to move through the apartment during the day. The smart-home system controls multi-level lighting and an electric curtain rail with blackout curtains. The designers chose pastel beige and grey colours, highlighted with dark grey and wooden textures. The walls in the rooms are plastered and painted, engineered wood flooring is used in the rooms, and ceramic granite and mosaic tiles in the bathrooms and the entrance area. Wood veneer sheets add a decorative touch to the guest lobby, while timber furniture and decor dominate the apartment.

Heating System

The apartment has an autonomous central heating system, which is not affected by the city heating schedule. Solar PV and domestic battery storage supply heated floors, radiators, and water heaters. Residents can control the central heating system by adjusting desired heat levels. In warm season, when battery storage exceeds 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit), excessive heat is generated in the water heating system, warming up the towel dryers.

For Sale

This apartment is being used as a display showroom for Brusnika, and is for sale upon completion of the estate construction.
