VM Apartment: A Modern Minimalist Space in Verona

Located in the charming province of Verona, Italy, VM Apartment is a recently built space that has undergone a stunning spatial reconfiguration by Doot Studio.

Through the careful selection of furniture elements, the project has succeeded in ennobling the space and increasing the comfort of those living in it. The apartment’s scale of various furniture elements makes it possible to identify and hierarchize spaces, creating an entrance area, a reading area, and a dining area. The reading area is particularly stunning, with a full-height bookcase that is configured as an interior architectural facade, working on the theme of order.

The continuity of materials used throughout the apartment also helps to create unity and cohesiveness, while the soft hues amplify the effects of natural light, creating a space that feels light, airy, and expansive.

About VM Apartment

Spatial Reconfiguration of a Verona Apartment

The province of Verona is home to a stunning apartment that has recently undergone a spatial reconfiguration. This project, which aims to increase the comfort of those living in the space, uses furniture elements to ennoble the area.

Hierarchizing Spaces through Furniture

To achieve this goal, the project’s furniture elements have been carefully selected to help hierarchize spaces. As a result, the apartment now features an entrance area and a reading and dining area, each with its unique feel and character.

Full-Height Bookcase for Managing the Reading Area

The reading area, in particular, is managed by a full-height bookcase that serves as an interior architectural facade. The bookcase’s unique design works on the theme of order, creating a space that’s both visually stunning and functional. The bookcase’s different depths of the shelves also allow light to interact with them, enlivening the wall design and adding an extra layer of visual interest.

Continuity of Materials for Unity

Throughout the apartment, there is a continuity of materials that helps to create unity and cohesiveness. The soft hues used in the project also help to amplify the effects of natural light, creating a space that feels light, airy, and expansive. Overall, this apartment in Verona is a stunning example of how furniture elements can transform a space and elevate the living experience.
