About 3 Summer Villas

Harmony in the Rugged Landscape: The Vourkari Villas

Tucked away in Vourkari, a quaint village on Kea Island, two private guest villas and a wellness center derive inspiration from the island’s untamed terrain. Perched with an ocean view, these structures harmoniously integrate into their surroundings, creating a minimal environmental footprint.

Design Principles: The Melding of Light and Privacy

While each building serves a distinct purpose, a shared design philosophy threads them together. Natural light bathes open interiors, yet careful design ensures that a sense of seclusion and tranquility persists. Built on sloping terrain, the villas connect through a circular road and a network of semi-subterranean stone tunnels, facilitating effortless movement.

The Intricacy of Interconnections: Roads, Tunnels, and Views

These tunnels, stretching from house to house, open onto breathtaking vistas of the Aegean. In addition, an intimate outdoor amphitheater provides a unique spot for summer cinema under the stars.

Nature-Inspired Architecture: A Salute to the Environment

The architecture pays homage to nature. Constructed from local stone, the buildings’ facades meld into the broader environment. Roofs teem with indigenous Cycladic plants, reinforcing the holistic design approach, while olive trees and wildflowers enfold the premises.

3 Summer Villas Interiors: Embracing the Sea and the Wind

Within the villas, every bedroom greets the ocean’s panorama. Gardens nestle behind the buildings, offering protection from the wind, yet another thoughtful touch to ensure comfort and tranquility.
