About North of Brooklyn

North of Brooklyn’s Newest Outpost

North of Brooklyn recently debuted its 7th location on Avenue Road in Toronto’s York neighborhood. This venue brilliantly transforms a classic New York pizza parlor into a modern masterpiece. It melds nostalgia with current design flair.

First Impressions Count

Upon stepping inside, a custom mosaic floor immediately captures attention, evoking feelings of artisanal craftsmanship. Meanwhile, a light box ceiling subtly guides visitors to the ordering counter.

Dining with Elegance

The dining area radiates warmth. Warm white tongue and groove boards stylishly dress the walls and ceiling. This design choice harmoniously marries rustic charm with modern sophistication.

Tribute to the Classics

Photographs of iconic NYC pizzerias, like Di Fara and Paulie Gee’s, grace the walls. Centrally, a spacious farmhouse table invites groups to commune. Pendant lights by Marset spotlight the dining tables, exuding coziness. And, a curated shelf wall offers a tantalizing view of gourmet items and pizza-themed treasures.

Space and Functionality

Originally two distinct units, this expanded space now houses two bustling pizza lines in the kitchen. It caters to the soaring demand seamlessly.

A Refreshed Exterior

Outside, a revamped facade shines. It boasts light brick, wooden windows, and elegantly curved blue ceramic tiles.
