Rediscovering Home: An Elegant Return
After living overseas, the teacher-couple returned to China, yearning for a poetic, unhurried lifestyle. This apartment, boasting a unique ceiling height of nearly 4m (about 13.1 ft), serves as their sanctuary. Arch-shaped windows guide the design for this private haven. Moreover, the column’s top surface design breaks the monotony of confined spaces.
Redefining Space: From Vision to Reality
Adjusting the living room’s height and incorporating a loft adds depth and interactivity to communal areas. Meanwhile, the rich teak wood juxtaposes the coarse grindstone, evoking both nostalgia and serenity.
