About Apartment in Warsaw

Reviving a Historic Warsaw Gem

In Warsaw’s Stara Ochota neighborhood, a 1936 apartment underwent a transformative journey. The mission? Carving out an expansive open-concept living space, complete with a kitchen and two pristine bathrooms.

Originally, dense partition walls limited the space. After we tore these down, we shaped two bedrooms, a study, two bathrooms, and an expansive living-dining area, seamlessly connected to the kitchen.

Blending Classic Charm with Modern Design

Preserving the apartment’s historic essence stood paramount. Thus, we meticulously restored architectural touches like wall and ceiling finishes, woodwork, and parquetry. Our design palette featured timeless pieces from legends such as Jean Prouve, Charles and Ray Eames, Edmund Homa, Apolinary Galecki, and many more. Moreover, Loft Kolasiński’s bespoke designs graced the apartment, including drawers, bookcases, beds, mirrors, and even a mobile kitchen island. Stanisław Dawski’s graphics and Erwin Olaf’s pictures adorned the walls, adding a touch of artistic elegance. Ultimately, our client’s unwavering trust and remarkable collaboration ensured this project’s grand success.
