About Apartment in Turin

Wilde’s Philosophy in Design

Wilde’s wisdom doesn’t just apply to writing; it aptly describes architecture and design too.

This project, rooted in a clear concept, underwent iterative refinement before its “mechanism” sprang to life.

The Multifunctional Heart of the Home

Depicting a multifaceted “machine”, this design merges numerous features: partition walls, sliding elements, storage, and a mirror, all within a 1,292 square feet (120 square meters) apartment.

Our writer client instantly saw our vision of a dynamic “apparatus” bridging the living room and study. This design flexibly adapts to needs: opening it unifies the living space, while closing it creates distinct areas.

Constructed of iron, laminated panels, and bronze glass, this “machine” boasts sliding walls and ceiling tubes that support spherical lamps. Interestingly, the desk utilizes a repurposed old door.

Positioned centrally, this feature dominates the apartment. Meanwhile, the integrated bookshelf strikes a minimalistic note, especially when laden with books. The living room’s facade shines, showcasing reimagined 70s furniture pieces.

Harmonizing Aesthetics and Functionality

Adjacent to the living room, the kitchen sits behind a sliding door. Here, concrete forms both the floor and worktops, emphasizing attention to detail.

We custom-designed various elements, including the living room table, coffee table, under-bookshelf cabinets, bathroom furniture, and mirrors.
