Villanueva Residence is a custom home that was designed and built for a young growing family in 2018 by Preschel Bassan Studio. The project is located in Morningside, a single family neighborhood in Miami with a beautiful character, defined by its prominent trees, abundant nature and architectural historically protected homes.

Melding Memories with Miami Modernity
A Venezuelan real-estate developer, having lived in New York, chose Miami for his family’s next chapter. He desired a house that echoed memories of his Venezuelan childhood while embracing the outdoor-centric Miami lifestyle. Architects took this wish as their design’s driving force.
Design Details: Space and Function
Spanning 4,700 sft (436.64 sqm) of living space, the house boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The social spaces occupy the first floor, seamlessly connecting to an expansive covered terrace. Additionally, an outdoor pool and garden enhance the leisure quotient. Meanwhile, the second floor houses the private bedrooms.
Tropical Modernism: A Contemporary Haven
The home showcases Modern Tropical Architecture. This style marries contemporary design with warm materials. Perfectly set in a locale rich in vegetation and history, it stands as a testament to blending personal past with present aspirations.
