Merging Old with New: A Design Journey
Juxtaposing old with new, and domestic with industrial, this project presents a harmonious contrast.
Mastering Monochrome
The entire floor boasts neutral concrete, letting the furnishings define and bring life to each space.
Functional Furnishings
A birch wall unit graces the entrance, discreetly hiding technical aspects. Meanwhile, the large table clearly marks the dining zone. Opposite this, the kitchen stands out in bold black. Only select items, changing with each meal preparation ritual, punctuate its uniformity.
Brass and Boundaries
A brass cabinet elegantly separates the dining realm from the culinary preparation sector.
Travel-Inspired Tranquility
In the master bedroom, wooden paneling divides the space vertically. The owners’ travel passion manifests as a wooden-engraved planisphere.
Bathroom Elegance
A sizable bench, doubling as a shelf, conceals fixtures in the master bathroom.
Ornamental Utility
No longer just functional, the 2-meter (6.56 feet) radiator at the entrance transforms into a decorative wall piece. Similarly, exposed steel structures artistically frame the kitchen.
