Inside LEBOND House: The Perfect Workplace in Barcelona

LEBOND House, a two-story house located in Barcelona, Spain, is the headquarters of LEBOND Watches, a brand that creates exclusive watch editions inspired by prestigious architects’ unique architectural styles.

Designed in 2022 by Asier Mateo, this concrete-style building was intended to create a warm, serene, and inspiring workplace for the LEBOND team. The main openings face south, providing breathtaking views of the natural surroundings, and two site-cast concrete porches were added to protect the south facade’s openings from rain and direct summer solar radiation.

About Lebond House

Revitalizing Traditional Architecture: The LEBOND House

Located in Barcelona, Spain, the LEBOND House is the headquarters of LEBOND Watches – an exclusive watch editor that creates unique watch editions inspired by prestigious architects and their architectural style. With this project, the design team sought to create a warm, serene and inspiring workplace for the LEBOND team.

Divided into two floors – an upper level with separate rooms for individual tasks requiring concentration and a lower level with open spaces for group interactions and creativity – the building’s south-facing main openings optimize sunlight while providing charming views of natural surroundings. To protect these openings from rain and direct summer solar radiation, two site-cast concrete porches were added to the main volume.

The Characteristic Feature: Revoltón Catalán

The most characteristic architectural element of this project is its use of Revoltón Catalán in both interior and exterior spaces. This traditional Catalonian construction technique emphasizes indoor-outdoor connections while lending a distinctive aesthetic to LEBOND House.
