About House of Tiles
Introducing “Confetti”: A Revolution in Stoneware Tiles
Marcante-Testa Studio, in collaboration with Ceramica Vogue, has unveiled the “Confetti” collection, a revolutionary line of glazed stoneware tiles. These tiles stand out with their graphic patterns that evoke a sense of nostalgia and intimacy, bridging personal memories with architectural utility. This initiative aligns perfectly with Ceramica Vogue’s tradition of integrating tiles into architecture.
The Birth of “House of Tiles”: A Visionary Interior Design Project
The “Confetti” collection inspired the designers to create “House of Tiles,” an innovative interior design project. This project reimagines living spaces, showcasing the versatility of the “Confetti” tiles. The designers have meticulously integrated these tiles into every corner of the home, from floors to ceilings. Key areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, and even doors have been transformed, demonstrating the potential of ceramic in both architecture and furnishings.
A Tropical Haven: The Architectural Marvel of “House of Tiles”
“House of Tiles” emerges as a multi-level concrete structure, nestled in a lush tropical setting. Here, the vibrant colors and designs of the “Confetti” collection soften the stark lines of architecture, creating a harmonious blend where nature meets culture. This space serves as a testament to how homes can become dialogues between our surroundings and cultural expressions.
A Collaborative Endeavor: Styling and Communication
The project extends beyond design; it’s a collaborative effort with Terzo Piano for styling and multimedia production. The goal is to redefine ceramic product communication through architectural experimentation. This collaboration underscores Ceramica Vogue’s long-standing commitment to innovative project approaches.
Crafting Classics: The Technical Elegance of “Confetti”
The “Confetti” collection boasts a singular format of 25×25 cm (approximately 9.8×9.8 inches) with a thickness of 10 mm (about 0.39 inches), featuring four architectural themes inspired by Italian cities: Milan, Venice, Rome, and Turin. With six color variations and eight solid colors to mix and match, “Confetti” redefines walls and floors with a classic yet contemporary Italian flair.
