This renovation and addition project by Mark English Architects involved a mid-century hillside home in Los Gatos, CA, United States, designed in 2017. Opening the home’s potential, the designers created a more cohesive design language through careful materiality and fluidity while leveraging the latest modern technology to merge interior and exterior together. Using a warm palette of timber and complementing colorful accents, the final design creates a striking organization and balance.
