About Hotel Villa Belvedere Apartments

Revitalizing a Mediterranean Gem

Originally, the building was a single-family residence spanning four levels above the ground floor. However, significant renovations transformed both its structure and architectural design. As a result, each level now boasts a chic apartment, all of which offer breathtaking views of the stunning Taormina Bay.

Marrying Design and Context

When redesigning Palazzina Pecaut in Taormina and crafting its interiors, we consistently prioritized the property’s context. Notably, the extraordinary surroundings, remarkable view, and unmistakable Mediterranean essence flowing through the windows remained at the forefront. Consequently, we envisioned open, bright, sunny spaces. In these areas, the Mediterranean air and light synergistically enhance the indoor ambiance, and the decor seamlessly complements the marine vistas.

Moreover, custom designs define each apartment. We purposefully embraced clean, contemporary lines and opted for refined, undecorated materials. Through this approach, the interplay of spaces and surfaces lends a refined elegance, emphasizing minimalism and meticulous attention to detail. Thus, we sought to create a space that feels both refreshing and relaxing, welcoming yet invigorating.

A Palette of Harmony and Comfort

White predominantly influences the furniture, and, when contrasted with rich walnut, it shapes the space’s overall impact beautifully. While white exudes freshness and purity, the wood and fabrics convey a sense of comfort and harmony. Specifically, these spaces, meticulously designed for relaxation and tranquility, consist of a single, airy, and incredibly luminous area that accommodates the primary functions.

Adjacent to this, the living area strategically sits close to a grand windowed door, thereby opening up to a unique panorama and terrace. Meanwhile, a slightly elevated platform thoughtfully houses the sleeping quarters. This elevation ensures the bedroom area doesn’t feel recessed beyond the living space, establishing a fluid spatial hierarchy. Finally, fully equipped with cabinets, drawers, and shelves, these spaces promise unparalleled comfort, even for extended stays.
