About Villa Sassella

Nestled on the captivating shores of Lake Como, Villa Sassella has undergone a remarkable transformation, thanks to the visionary team at Nomade Architettura. Completed in 2023, this comprehensive renovation has breathed new life into the property, seamlessly blending traditional charm and modern elegance.

Maximizing the Lakeside Vista

Collaborating closely with the homeowners, the designers have reimagined the upper level as the primary living area. Here, an expansive open-concept space seamlessly integrates the living room, dining room, and kitchen, allowing the extraordinary panoramic lake views to take center stage. The chosen design is one of refined simplicity, featuring clean lines and high-end materials that harmoniously blend with vintage architectural elements, creating a captivating fusion of old and new.

Enchanting Entryway and Sleeping Quarters

The villa’s entryway, though compact, has been transformed into a true gem. Adorned with a stunning terrazzo floor and a sophisticated mirrored furnishing with gilded accents, it exudes an air of exclusivity and refinement. From here, one is led directly to the spacious master bedroom, where a custom-designed headboard hides a functional walk-in closet with dual access.

Harmonious Lower-Level Retreats

The lower level of the villa has been dedicated to the sleeping quarters, where a welcoming vestibule, featuring an original stone floor and a bespoke iron door, introduces three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own unique personality and charm. Two of these are generously sized and bright, designed as luxurious master suites, while the third, more intimate space, has been crafted as a playful haven for younger guests. Complementing the bedrooms are two additional bathrooms, where refined design and meticulous attention to detail have created spaces of great allure and comfort.

A Triumph of Design and Craftsmanship

In summary, the complete renovation of Villa Sassella represents a project where creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for beauty have converged to create a living space that offers both comfort and elegance. This transformation is a testament to the exceptional work of Nomade Architettura, showcasing their ability to seamlessly blend modern and traditional elements to craft a truly remarkable lakeside retreat.
