Nestled in the heart of Hancock Park, Bridge House LA reimagines residential building with a deep respect for the environment and a strong connection to nature. Designed by Dan Brunn, AIA, Principal of Dan Brunn Architecture, this unique “bridge house” spans 65 feet (19.8 meters) over a natural stream, earning its distinctive name. The 4,500-square-foot (418-square-meter) home, brought to life with the assistance of trusted partner MODAA Inc., showcases innovative systems and forward-thinking design principles. Brunn’s signature minimalist aesthetic is on full display, characterized by dynamic interplays of light and volume. “The idea is to do something extraordinary with ordinary means,” says Brunn.

Bridge House LA: A Vibrant Venue for Events and Art Exhibits

Following its recent unveiling, Bridge House will host a variety of events throughout the coming year, sponsored by esteemed brands such as BMW, Pentair, MODAA, Oliver Peoples, and many others. The property will also serve as a platform to showcase rotating art exhibits. The inaugural installation gracing Bridge House’s walls is a collection by multidisciplinary artist Tasya van Ree titled “Mother Nature and The Sound of Her Feminine Dream.” This captivating exhibit features dreamlike visuals that convey an inspirational message of love, self-empowerment, and a deeper understanding of the heart and its cosmic foundation. During Frieze Los Angeles 2020, Bridge House hosted “Paris-Los Angeles,” a conceptual art exhibit that displayed works from renowned artists including John Baldessari, Alex Israel, and James Jean.
